First Semester Reports 2006

The following national reports of the first semester 2006 have been produced by the independent social inclusion experts in response to common guidelines. They comprise two main topics: The first is a critical review by the experts of key trends in their respective Member State, embracing indicators and information on policy orientations and on public debates focusing on social inclusion. The second is on active inclusion and minimum resources, understood as a comprehensive policy mix combining adequate income support, empowerment, labour market activation policies and access to basic services, aimed at a more effective integration of people excluded from the labour market. For an independent analytical synthesis of all 25 national reports (Bulgaria and Romania have been included in the common guidelines as from 2007), please download Synthesis Report 2006/1.
